Our research goal is the creation of nanomedicines to provide novel therapeutic modalities for the treatment of intractable tumors, inherent genetic diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases. Particularly, we have developed polymer-based nanoparticles for small molecular weight drugs, antibodies, and nucleic acids.
1) how do nanomedicines accumulate in target organs/cells?
2) how can we develop multifunctional polymers?
3) how can we manipulate underlined molecular self-assemblies?
To solve these questions, we have used various nano/bioengineering techniques and ultimately aim for nanomedicine developements.
